About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat between friends who kept sending each other screenshots of games they couldn't stop playing. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so here we are — a small independent team with no publisher telling us what to say.
We cover mobile games of all shapes: brain-benders, sprawling role-playing worlds, tense strategy titles, and quick arcade fun for the bus ride. The rule is simple — if it lives on a phone and it's interesting, we'll try it.
Every game we write about is one we actually installed and played. Sometimes for an hour, sometimes for weeks. We don't review from trailers, and we don't copy store descriptions. A review goes up only when someone on the team has genuinely spent time with the thing.
We pick games by watching what people are talking about, digging through store listings, and following tips from readers. Popularity helps a title get noticed, but it never guarantees a good score.
